Palia: How to Get a Spooky Moon Token and Choose a Spiritfest Title

Start during Spiritfest’s limited event window

This guide covers the Spiritfest content documented in patch 0.207. The event runs for a limited time through the end of October independently of the patch cycle; do the Bulletin Board progression while the event is available. [1]

An installed patch alone does not make Spiritfest permanent. The event’s end-of-October window is a separate condition from the client version. [1]

Collect the two event materials

Ectoplasm is a rare bonus from gathering forageables during Spiritfest. It is not promised on each harvest, so an individual gather without Ectoplasm does not establish a broken drop. [1]

Tattered Cloth comes from Ghastly Jaakcats. It has a different source from Ectoplasm, so gathering ordinary forageables is not the documented route for both ingredients. [1]

2. Collect Tattered Cloth from Ghastly Jaakcats during Spiritfest. [1]

Contribute to Elouisa’s Bulletin Board and finish its Outro

Elouisa’s Spiritfest progression uses the Bulletin Board. Bring the requested items there; collecting event materials is the preparation step rather than the token reward itself. [1]

Steps

1. Complete the Bulletin Board contribution progression to earn L’il Ghosties. [1]
2. Finish the following Outro quest to receive the Spooky Moon Token. The announcement explicitly attaches the token to the Outro, so do not stop checking progression at the initial board reward. [1]

Choose one of the three store titles

The Vampire, The Werewolf and The Witch are purchased at the Spooky Moon Store with the token. Review all three names before spending it; the currency is deliberately limited. [1]

Only one token is available each year, so you can purchase one of those three store titles per annual celebration. The other two are not additional purchases you can grind out during the same event. [1]

Know which title uses a different reward route

The Undead uses Path of the Ghastly instead of the Spooky Moon Token store choice. It is the fourth new title, with a separate acquisition route; do not spend your token expecting it to be another name for one of the three shop titles. [1]
