Once Human: How to Change Face, Body and Hair for Free

Use the Territory mirror and account for the update’s Outfit Preset hair-storage change.

Use the Territory Floor Mirror

Platforms: PCUpdated Evidence checked

The September update makes facial and body reshaping and palette hair dye free of Chrysalis Tokens and Butterfly Dyes. The publisher directs players to the Floor Mirror in their territory. Its 3.0.7 interface change opens editing for the currently active Face Preset directly. [1]

Steps

  1. Visit the Floor Mirror in your Territory to enter editing of the active Face Preset. [1]
  2. Reshape facial features or body shape there, and use the color palette to change hair color without acquiring Chrysalis Tokens or Butterfly Dye first. [1]

Store the hair look with the Outfit Preset

Platforms: PCUpdated Evidence checked

The update stores hairstyle dye with Outfit Presets rather than Face Presets. Newly saved Face Preset preview images omit hairstyle and its dye. Check which preset type you are using when organizing a complete outfit-and-hair look. [1]

Keep gender changes separate from the free edits

Platforms: PCUpdated Evidence checked

The free changes cover face, body and palette hair color. The gender-change Metamorphosis Token remains an item, with its price reduced to 300 Crystgin. Do not assume that the free mirror edits remove that separate requirement. [1]
