Online Benchmark did not trigger in some scenarios
The April PC update resolves Online Benchmark failing to trigger properly in some scenarios. It also resolves Krossplay Online Match invitation problems. These are two named fixes in the PC Steam and Epic Games Store section. [1]
Friends cannot find one another in King of the Hill
King of the Hill separates players into groups with and without Krossplay enabled. WB support says players on the same platform should match their Krossplay settings to find one another. Being on the same console or PC store alone does not bypass that setting split. [2]
Documented steps
- Match the other player’s Krossplay setting before looking for one another in King of the Hill. [2]
PC benchmark requirements block console matchmaking
PC players who do not meet the online benchmark cannot enter Krossplay matchmaking against PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S. The FAQ requires an average-frame-rate minimum and an SSD, but does not state a numerical FPS threshold here. Private Krossplay matches and King of the Hill lobbies remain available. [2]
