Steps

  1. Open Main Menu, Settings, Online, then Enable Krossplay. [1]
  2. Open the Online Social menu and add your friends through the in-game WB Games friends list. That list supports private Krossplay coordination and King of the Hill invitations. [1]

For King of the Hill, all participants should use matching Krossplay settings. On PC, failing the online benchmark blocks matchmaking against consoles but leaves private matches and King of the Hill available. If an HDD user joins those private modes, consoles can display Slow HDD Detected; the match proceeds, with potentially longer loading. [1]
