Lethal Company: How to Adjust Version 80 Graphics and Motion Options

Use the documented pixel-resolution, indoor lighting and movement-accessibility settings.

PC

Reduce pixel resolution for GPU performance

Platforms: PCUpdated Evidence checked

Version 80 adds a setting that lowers the game’s pixel resolution. The developer describes it as a GPU performance option. It trades displayed resolution for that intended benefit and does not establish a fix for every CPU, network or host-side slowdown. [1]

Steps

  1. Open the game’s settings and lower the pixel-resolution setting introduced in version 80 when you want to reduce rendering demand. [1]

Choose whether to keep indoor indirect lighting

Platforms: PCUpdated Evidence checked

The same release adds basic indoor indirect lighting and explicitly allows it to be turned off in settings. The patch note documents the toggle but does not quantify a performance gain from disabling it. [1]

Steps

  1. In settings, turn indoor indirect lighting off if you prefer to play without the added lighting effect. [1]

Adjust running motion and sprint behavior separately

Platforms: PCUpdated Evidence checked

Version 80 also provides options to disable head bobbing when running and jumping and to enable toggle-to-sprint. These are accessibility controls rather than measured FPS fixes. Use them for motion comfort or input preference independently of pixel resolution. [1]

Steps

  1. Choose the head-bobbing and toggle-to-sprint accessibility options according to your comfort and input preference. [1]
