ICARUS Known Issues, Workarounds and Fixes

Official Week 253 fixes for radiation-item pickup, uranium-stack scaling, missing Sandworms and milking cows after orbital transport.

PC
Resolved

A cow brought down from orbit can no longer be milked

Platforms: PCUpdated Evidence checked

The patch fixes cows becoming impossible to milk after they are brought down from orbit. That transport trigger is the scope of the documented correction. [1]

Resolved

Dropped items cannot be picked up inside a radiation area

Platforms: PCUpdated Evidence checked

Week 253 fixes the inability to pick up dropped items inside a radiation sphere. The radiation-area boundary is part of this particular interaction bug. [1]

Resolved

RIFT defeat-Sandworm objectives are completed incorrectly or the boss does not spawn

Platforms: PCUpdated Evidence checked

Week 253 corrects defeat-Sandworm objectives appearing complete when they were not. [1]

It also fixes cases where the Sandworm did not spawn, with a fallback using the quest marker when finding a spawn location fails. [1]

Resolved

Uranium stacks in chests produce incorrectly scaled radiation zones

Platforms: PCUpdated Evidence checked

The update corrects radiation-zone scaling for stacks of uranium placed in chests. It does not mean radioactive items become safe to store without considering their radiation. [1]

Documented workaround

Noxious Crust changes into ore during storage

Platforms: PCUpdated Evidence checked

Noxious Crust intentionally spoils after Week 249. It breaks down into the underlying resource rather than remaining in crust form forever. [2]

Documented steps

  1. Cleanse ordinary ore crust promptly when you want the higher resource return, rather than storing it indefinitely. [2]

Limits & applicability

  • Exotics Noxious Crust has a separate three-times cleansed rate, so do not apply the ordinary five-times figure to Exotics. [2]
