Get the Art Studio required to host
The Kortz Center Heist uses the Art Studio upgrade for your Mansion as its operations base. Rockstar explicitly requires the Art Studio to host and launch the heist. A player joining someone else’s crew does not need to own a Mansion, which is a different requirement from hosting. [1]
Steps
- Upgrade your Mansion with the Art Studio if you intend to host. Use that space as the heist’s base for preparation and planning. [1]
- Complete the heist’s preparation and planning. The publisher says equipment accumulates in the Art Studio during that process, and crew members choose their own loadouts for the Finale. [1]
Decide whether to bring a crew
A crew is optional. Teaming up provides access to a Secondary Target room that solo players cannot reach, and more duffels increase the maximum haul. The vault’s Primary Target remains the main objective, while stealing Secondary Targets can require extra hands and bag space. [1]
Check useful Mansion upgrades before the Finale
The Mansion Armory adds an Mk II weapon to each heist loadout. Its Vehicle Workshop improves certain getaway vehicles, and Security staff help distract police during the escape to reduce the Wanted level. A Bunker adds Special Ammo and upgrades to the Armory’s included weapon. These are documented preparation benefits rather than additional prerequisites for joining a crew. [1]
