Link an existing account on the first PlayStation launch

Steps

1. On the first launch of the HoYoverse game on PlayStation, choose Login with existing account and follow the prompts to link that HoYoverse Account to PlayStation Network. The current support answer links to the Genshin-specific cross-save notice. [1]

Link an email to progress first created on PlayStation

Starting on PlayStation automatically creates and links a HoYoverse Account. To use that account on PC or mobile, link an email to the existing PlayStation-created account first. This is the separate case described by the support answer. [1]

Steps

1. Log in on PlayStation, open Settings > Account > User Center, then follow the prompts to link an email and set a password. [1]
2. Use that linked email and password on the other device. If User Center already shows a linked email, sign in with it or reset its password if needed. [1]

Keep the same game server when continuing progress

The Genshin cross-save notice requires the same server to synchronize progress. Account linking does not transfer a character between different regional servers. [2]
