Open the HUD Recommendation System
Free Fire groups its recommended control layouts in Settings > HUD. Garena introduced this recommendation system to let players browse and apply presets shared by professional players. A layout is a starting point for your controls; the documentation does not say that one preset guarantees better aim or suits every screen. [1]
Steps
- Open Settings and select HUD. Browse the HUD Recommendation System to find the preset you want to use. [1]
Apply a code and decide whether to sync sensitivity
The share-code tool moved to the bottom-left corner of the recommendation page in OB52. Codes and professional-player presets can include both a control layout and sensitivity settings, so distinguish the layout you want from the sensitivity you intend to keep. [1]
Steps
- Use the share-code tool at the bottom-left of that page when applying the code you have chosen. This is the location Garena documents for the revised HUD interface. [1]
- When applying the code, choose whether to sync its linked sensitivity. Leave that synchronization unselected if your intention is to use the layout while keeping your existing sensitivity; select it if you also want the settings bundled with the code. [1]
Use Smart Adjust as an additional layout aid
Garena’s Smart Adjust feature suggests changes based on screen-tap data and HUD usage patterns. It complements choosing a shared layout; the announcement does not describe it as a guaranteed competitive advantage or a universal sensitivity calculator. Use its suggestions when deciding how the imported controls fit your own play. [2]
