Choose Map Training for the practice session
Choose Map Training for practicing a map setup. The launch documentation lists it separately from the revamped Training Base and Practice vs. AI, so these names should not be treated as one identical mode. [1]
Practice vs. AI is the separate option described for fighting AI opponents on Shard Clash maps; this guide concerns the Map Training tools for repeating a lineup. [1]
Steps
- Choose Map Training for the lineup-practice session. [1]
Name and revisit the lineup location
Use the Lineup panel to edit a location’s name and description and to teleport quickly to a specified location. Name the setup clearly enough to recognize it during later repetitions. The April tool documentation supplies those organizational and movement functions; it does not prescribe one universal lineup name or target. [2]
Steps
- Edit the lineup location’s name and description in the Lineup panel. [2]
Use the updated practice wheel and bot placement
Use the practice wheel for the tools provided by the updated mode. [2]
The documentation places the new features in that wheel. [2]
For a setup requiring targets, place hostile bots using the documented tool, up to five. That is the listed bot-placement limit for this practice feature, rather than an unrestricted combat lobby size. [2]
Steps
- Place up to five hostile bots when the setup needs stationary enemy targets. [2]
Repeat the last projectile and inspect its path
Use the re-launch feature to repeat the last projectile fired instead of rebuilding the whole setup between observations. [2]
Inspect projectile tracking in the small window and use the advance landing-point display. These are the documented visual tools for examining the path and landing area; they do not establish a guaranteed successful lineup against moving players. [2]
Steps
- Use the tool to re-launch the last projectile fired. [2]
Set the lineup toggle key if needed
Set the lineup enable/disable binding to the input you prefer. The update supports custom keys, so no single default key is asserted here. Keep that display toggle separate from the Lineup panel’s naming and teleport functions when arranging the practice session. [2]
