Creation-related infinite loading: the creator must regenerate archives
The October 15 Creation Kit update corrects PC-to-PlayStation .nif conversion for filtered PreCombines generated through the Creation Kit GUI. Bethesda says the player should no longer hit an infinite loading screen after the creator recombines the geometry and updates the Creation with new archives. The creator-side archive update is an explicit condition; the tool correction alone does not establish that every installed Creation has been rebuilt. [1]
PlayStation looping Creation audio has only partial support
For looping .wav file crashes on PlayStation, the October 15 update introduces a temporary solution. Bethesda says looping audio added by a Creation can still be heard once, but should no longer crash the title. The note explicitly calls this audio only partially supported, so the remaining loop should not be described as fully resolved. [1]
PlayStation NPC FaceGen crash from Creations
The October 15 PlayStation game update fixes a crash related to NPC FaceGen when a Creation adds NPCs. This is a player-facing PlayStation fix, distinct from the Creation Kit’s geometry conversion correction. [1]
Steam Deck virtual-keyboard crash
The August 18 game update fixes a crash when opening the Virtual Keyboard on Steam Deck. It separately fixes a Microsoft Store crash when entering Creations after internet connectivity resumes. Keep those two triggers distinct when comparing a report from a PC installation. [1]
Bunker Home Pack falsely reported insufficient PC space
The May 27 update fixes Bunker Home Pack incorrectly reporting not enough space on PC despite sufficient disk space. That is the named content pack and platform in Bethesda’s note, rather than proof that every storage warning can be ignored. [1]
Backing out during a PlayStation Creation download caused a crash
Bethesda’s May 27 fix list includes a PlayStation crash when downloading a Creation and backing out to the Main Menu before the download finishes. This is a shipped fix with a specific menu-navigation trigger. [1]
A Creation may require a particular load order
Bethesda’s installation guide says to read the Creation’s description for load-order requirements. If it needs a particular order, the supported control is Load Order in the Creations menu. The guide does not supply one universal order for every combination of mods. [2]
Documented steps
- Read the affected Creation’s description, then select Load Order in the Creations menu and arrange it according to its requirements. [2]
