A skill plan shows missing books
A plan can contain skills before their books are bought and injected. A red book icon beside a skill when applying the plan means required books are missing. This does not mean the plan has already trained those skills. [3]
Documented steps
- Open the red book icon to review the missing books. Use the offered purchase-and-inject flow or Check on Market to compare the regional market listings before buying. [3]
An existing industry job finishes but a new one cannot start
An active industry job continues and completes normally after Omega expires. Starting another job may be blocked by Alpha limits on the relevant skills. Manufacturing jobs that Alpha skills permit also have an additional tax. Separate an account eligibility limit from a job that is actually stuck. [2]
Omega modules went offline after the account became Alpha
CCP documents that modules requiring Omega go offline when Omega lapses and cannot be brought online in Alpha state. A lapsed character may still fly the boarded ship and dock, but does not receive the unavailable skill bonuses. This is a clone-state restriction, rather than proof of a broken fitting. [2]
An injected skill still cannot train
Injection and training eligibility are different. CCP says an Omega character can inject any skill, but the prerequisite skill levels must still be satisfied before training. Its example is Minmatar Destroyer remaining untrainable until Minmatar Frigate reaches level III. [1]
Documented steps
- Check the item or skill information window’s Requirements tab and inspect the indented prerequisite skills. Train the missing prerequisite levels before expecting the dependent skill to train. [1]
