Enlisted: How to Field Off-road Squads and Capture Points from Vehicles

Choose the research vehicle for your army

The Off-road Patrol update adds a BR II research option for each army: GAZ-64 DS-39 for the USSR, Kubelwagen 82 for Germany, Type 95 Kurogane for Japan and Willys M1919A4 for the USA. Choose the squad corresponding to the army whose lineup you are preparing. [1]

These are unlockable squads in the army research trees, rather than a claim that every account automatically receives all four vehicles. [1]

Account for the shared motorcycle vehicle limit

Off-road vehicles share the squad-lineup vehicle limit with motorcycles. Plan the lineup with that shared limit in mind; adding the new vehicle type does not create an independent unlimited motorcycle allowance. The same documentation identifies the off-road vehicles as carrying grenade boxes. [1]

Capture a point without leaving the vehicle

Motorcycles and the new off-road vehicles can capture points. [1]

Use that ability when contesting a capture point: the update explicitly allows the crew to remain in the vehicle. The statement does not extend the same capture capability to every tank or vehicle class. [1]

Read the squad’s ticket and experience changes

The update gives Off-road and Motorbike squads a fifty-percent experience bonus and halves their reinforcement-ticket spawning cost. These are squad-specific changes in the release notes; they are not a universal discount for every vehicle in the match. [1]

Distinguish the premium vehicle variants

The BR II premium variants are the Kubelwagen 82 Zwillingssockel and Willys Bazooka. They are separate entries from the research vehicles. Choose the research route above when the task is unlocking the army’s standard off-road squad, rather than assuming that research unlocks either premium variant. [1]
