Eco 14.2: How to Set Store Buy Limits, Quotas and a Cash Reserve

Begin with a priced buy offer

In Eco 14.2, a new offer starts without a price. Its “No Price Set” state prevents trades and excludes it from the Economy Viewer until the owner sets one. Complete that basic configuration before investigating a quantity limit. A store whose offer has no price cannot be made tradable simply by changing the quantity to infinite. [1]

Choose continuous restocking or a one-time order

A stock target continues buying whenever the quantity stored in linked storage falls below the configured target. A quota instead purchases the specified quantity once. Choose a stock target for restocking as goods are used, or a quota for a finite order that should not repeat whenever storage is emptied. These modes answer different purchasing needs even when you enter the same numeric quantity. [1]

Set a minimum account balance

The assigned account can retain a minimum balance through the store’s reserve setting. Purchases are refused if the balance is already too low or the transaction would cross that minimum. This lets the account keep funds available instead of buying until it is exhausted. When a purchase is refused, compare its cost with the configured reserve before assuming that the buy quota has been met. [1]

1. Configure the store’s minimum balance for its assigned bank account. Ensure the intended account is assigned; the update permits players with full access to change that assignment. [1]

Inspect the stock that your target uses

The 14.1 storage search creates an uncollapsed view of in-range containers holding the searched items and hides other items. Its Locate button jumps to a container in the regular view. Use those controls to inspect the goods relevant to a stock target. The type filter can hide containers from your view; hidden containers continue working as configured, so hiding one is not the same as changing its storage rule. [2]

Check transactions after configuring the offer

The revised bank history can select currency and filter by description, transaction type and timeframe. The store view can combine transactions from selected stores you own and report totals, item sales and revenue. New economic-view data begins accumulating after the update; it does not reconstruct activity from before that collection began. [1]
