Choose the bedroll feature for the resource you want to restore
Source Meditation restores Source Points when you use the bedroll. From The Ashes has a different job: using the bedroll outside combat automatically resurrects party members. Select the feature that matches the task, or both if you want both effects. Keep the out-of-combat restriction with resurrection; the two adjacent descriptions should not be combined into a claim that a bedroll supplies an in-combat revival action. [2]
Steps
- Enable Source Meditation for Source restoration, or From The Ashes for bedroll resurrection outside combat. [2]
Use Fort Joy Magic Mirror for an earlier respec
If your task is changing your build before leaving the first act, select Fort Joy Magic Mirror. It places a Magic Mirror in the Arena of Fort Joy and adds a new Character Creation level, allowing a respec before moving to the next act. This is the early-respec feature to look for rather than a travel-speed or bedroll option. Its documented location is the Arena of Fort Joy. [3]
Toggle the new sprint icon or select animal dialogue access
Endless Runner adds a hotbar icon that toggles sprint on and off and increases movement speed for your party and followers. Animal Empathy instead lets every player character talk to animals without spending a talent point; existing Pet Pal gains maximum positive attitude in animal conversations. Choose these by the friction you want to remove: the sprint icon handles movement, while Animal Empathy handles dialogue access. Neither description is a guide to an optimized combat build. [3]
