Diablo IV: How to Share War Plans Progress Between Characters

Match the three character partitions, allocate separate plans and preserve Hardcore seasonal carryover.

PC

Choose characters in matching War Plans partitions

Platforms: PCEvidence checked

Season of Hell’s Legacy shares earned War Plans reputation points across account characters only when three partitions match: Eternal or Seasonal, non-Hardcore or Hardcore, and Normal or Solo-Self Found. Start by comparing all three states, because sharing an account alone is insufficient. A Seasonal non-Hardcore non-SSF character shares with another in that exact group, but not with a Seasonal non-Hardcore SSF character. [1]

Allocate the shared points separately on each character

Steps

  1. Earn War Plans reputation on one of those matching characters. The reputation levels and progress are shared with the others in that partition. [1]
  2. On each character, allocate its own planner to suit that character’s goal. Shared reputation points do not force every character to use the same plan. [1]

Keep a living Hardcore character for seasonal transfer

Platforms: PCEvidence checked

Starting in Season 15, transferring a dead Hardcore character’s accumulated progress to Eternal requires at least one living Hardcore character in the same partition to go through the seasonal change. Blizzard explicitly allows a level 1 storage character. Keep that partition requirement in view when choosing which living character will carry the accumulated points. [1]
