Identify the source of AZ3 radiation exposure
In AZ3 Nuclear Plant, entering leak zones and searching radiation containers builds exposure. The June 30 PC update documentation introduces the Black Site Decontamination Chamber for increased radiation resistance and natural radiation decay. It describes a progression system for those effects, rather than an instruction to remove all exposure by opening a container. [1]
The chamber improves resistance and natural decay; those are the effects to compare across its tiers. [1]
Reach Operations level nine for Tier 1 access
Reach Operations level nine for access to Tier 1. [1]
The first tier moves tolerance from Weak to Normal and brings the natural-decay start forward from fifteen seconds to ten. This tier changes both the tolerance category and the delay before decay begins; it is not described as a flat health-restoration consumable. [1]
Steps
- Reach Operations level nine to unlock access to Decontamination Chamber Tier 1. [1]
Reach Operations level fourteen for Tier 2 access
Operations level fourteen unlocks Tier 2. [1]
The second tier moves tolerance from Normal to Strong and raises natural-decay speed from no bonus to a twenty-percent bonus. Compare that speed bonus with the first tier’s earlier decay start: faster decay and an earlier start are different benefits in the documented progression. [1]
Steps
- Reach Operations level fourteen to unlock access to Tier 2. [1]
Reach Operations level twenty-seven for Tier 3 access
Operations level twenty-seven unlocks Tier 3. [1]
The third tier moves tolerance from Strong to Very Strong, reduces the natural-decay delay from ten to five seconds and raises the speed bonus from twenty to fifty percent. The fifty-percent figure is the new total bonus stated for this tier, not an additional fifty points to add to the earlier twenty. [1]
Steps
- Reach Operations level twenty-seven to unlock access to Tier 3. [1]
Compare each effect rather than assuming radiation immunity
Use the chamber tier’s tolerance, start delay and decay-speed values when planning around radiation. The publisher describes increased resistance and decay, and does not describe the chamber as granting immunity to every radiation source. These are the published June PC-system values, preserved with that source’s date rather than presented as a newly measured balance change. [1]
