PC patch 1.15.2 fixes bugs introduced in 1.15.1
The January 2023 PC update fixes some bugs in the recently released 1.15.1 update. The note does not identify individual triggers, so this historical fix cannot diagnose a particular current crash. After applying it, the title screen shows App Ver. 1.15.2 and Regulation Ver. 1.35. [1]
Resting respawns most defeated enemies
Resting at a bonfire saves progress and respawns defeated enemies, with some exceptions. The manual describes this as part of resting, alongside recovery, rather than a lost-progress bug. [4]
Co-op host must have the power of an Ember
FromSoftware’s Windows manual says the host needs to use an Ember to gain the power of flame. It normally allows two cooperative guests; using a Dried Finger raises that guest limit to three. These are hosting conditions documented by the game’s manual. [2]
Co-op voice chat needs permission enabled on both sides
The manual says cooperative voice chat works between players who have each enabled voice-chat permission. It locates that permission under Top Menu, System, Network Settings. A silent co-op session can therefore have a documented permission check before treating it as a microphone failure. [3]
