Crossout: How to Use Auto-Assembly and Save Your Build

Save a blueprint first, choose required parts and a Power Score range, then test the generated vehicle.

Save the current vehicle before generating another

Crossout’s official game guide describes auto-assembly as generating a random armoured vehicle from the parts in your stock. The result occupies the player’s current vehicle slot, so the publisher recommends saving the existing vehicle as a blueprint first. The source is the publisher’s archived game guide; it documents this basic workflow rather than a new patch feature. [1]

Steps

  1. Use Blueprints to preserve the current vehicle before running auto-assembly. The guide identifies Blueprints as the place where saved vehicle designs are kept for quick assembly. [1]

Choose constraints and generate a vehicle

Steps

  1. Find the auto-assembly button to the right of the Leviathan slot. Open its neighbouring settings button to choose parts that must be included and the Power Score range. [1]
  2. Run auto-assembly with those settings. It generates a random vehicle and paints it using a random paint from your stock. The guide explicitly excludes building a Leviathan with this system. [1]
  3. Use Test drive to check the assembled vehicle’s handling and firepower in the firing range before taking it into a battle. [1]

A saved blueprint does not supply missing parts

A blueprint survives even if its required parts are sold or destroyed. However, you cannot load that design in full without those parts. Saving the design preserves its layout; it does not replace your inventory. [1]
