Autumn Breeze updates the UI framework and can affect mods

Platforms: PCUpdated Evidence checked

The September 15 release of 1.6.2f1 updates the UI framework and warns of side effects for a limited number of mods. Loading old saves is supported. A mod behaving differently after this update therefore needs its own compatibility check; the note does not identify every affected mod or provide a universal repair. [1]

Resolved

Large cities with no residential demand

Platforms: PCUpdated Evidence checked

Patch 1.6.2f1 changes how empty residential properties affect demand by accounting for city size. The notes explicitly describe this as fixing the lack of residential demand in very large cities. This is a simulation correction for that case, rather than a guarantee that every city will have positive demand. [1]

Resolved

Offices unable to import Software

Platforms: PCUpdated Evidence checked

The same patch lists a fix for offices being unable to import Software from outside connections. A separate fix restores local-mail importing when a Post Office has its Sorting upgrade. Keep these distinct service symptoms separate when comparing a city with the official fixes. [1]
