First check for an interaction you have not inspected
This guide contains location hints for level 2, the Fortress. Rundisc recommends reading the specific hints after finishing the level and failing to find its glyphs. The developer explains that observing usually means clicking an area or object to zoom in and make its glyphs readable. Recognizing a word’s meaning is therefore a different task from inspecting the location needed to reveal its page. Use the Hint control listed in the menu’s Help section to check the surroundings. A white dot marks something still to do or see; click the relevant object or area and inspect its zoomed view. [1]
Steps
- Open the Help section to identify the Hint control, then use its white dots to find remaining interactions nearby. [1]
PROTECT, CHOSEN, IMPURE: inspect more than two statue sides
Return to the large statue in the Great Hall at the Fortress entrance. Its pivot mechanism is at the top of a staircase. Rotate it several times and inspect the different sides: the developer specifically warns that the statue has more than two. This is the location hint for PROTECT, CHOSEN and IMPURE. [1]
Steps
- Use the staircase mechanism to pivot the Great Hall statue several times, inspecting all of its sides. [1]
KEY, INSTRUMENT, BALANCE, VESSEL: inspect the illuminated wall
In the Antichamber immediately before the Treasure Room, investigate the torch. Its mechanism is farther down. Once the torch is correctly positioned, it illuminates the walls in a particular way; inspect one of those illuminated walls. Solving the torch’s placement and actually looking at the wall are separate parts of this hint for KEY, INSTRUMENT, BALANCE and VESSEL. [1]
SUN, MOON, BELLMAN: revisit the Telescope Room
For SUN, MOON and BELLMAN, Rundisc directs players back to the Telescope Room. The published hint stops at that location, so use the surrounding interactions rather than assuming that visiting the room alone validates the missing group. This keeps the guide at the developer’s level of detail without inventing a telescope input sequence. [1]
