Begin with the introductory mission
Steps
- Go to Millennium City on a hero at level ten or above. You should receive the mission to investigate the Onslaught Agents appearing around the city. [1]
- Speak with the Onslaught Agents to follow the mode’s introduction. Supervillain Onslaught offers two roles: a hero transformed through an Onslaught Device, or a Guardian defending against that supervillain. [1]
Earn the token type for the role you are playing
As a supervillain, defeat Guardian Heroes and Onslaught Targets in Millennium City to earn Villain Tokens. Those tokens buy gear and powers. As a Guardian, fight Onslaught Supervillains to earn Guardian Tokens; these unlock playable Onslaught Villains and Onslaught Play Tokens. Keeping the two reward routes separate helps explain why a reward requires a different currency. [1]
Use Onslaught Hotspots for their additional bonuses
The publisher identifies Hotspots as specific areas that grant additional bonuses during fights between the two roles. Look for those targeted areas while taking part in the mode; the guide does not establish a numerical bonus or a guaranteed token total per fight. [1]
