2.5.13: AMD rendering freezes during Rift missions
The 2.5.13 default-branch patch adds a workaround for rendering freezes occurring primarily in Rift missions with AMD cards on Windows. It disables a visual-distortion effect for some AMD cards. Removing a permanent subsystem can destroy it away from an Equipment Dock
The Ship Menu now allows removing subsystems from disabled slots, including slots lost after scaling down a ship. Permanent upgrades retain the usual removal rule: they are destroyed unless the ship is near an Equipment Dock. The new disabled-slot access does not waive that requirement. [1]

The patch fixes ship rotation speed being reduced at high frame rates. This is the recorded frame-rate-dependent turning defect; the notes do not prescribe a universal frame-rate cap or replacement ship controls. [1]
