AdventureQuest 3D: How to Unlock DragonSlayer and Rank the Class

Earn the correct class currency

DragonSlayer unlocks with DragonSlayer Class Tokens. The current official class page identifies two sources: the Ashfall Saga and daily quests from Galanoth. That makes the class’s own currency the starting point for this route. It is a separate unlock from obtaining a DragonSlayer-themed weapon or collecting a travel form. [1]

Steps

1. Go to Galanoth in Ashfall and follow the storyline and daily quests that award DragonSlayer Tokens. The live-release announcement identifies him as the starting NPC. [2]

Check the class before spending tokens

Class tokens are stored separately from the backpack. Open the class menu and inspect DragonSlayer to see its token balance. The developer’s unlock explanation also describes buying only the remaining tokens with DragonCrystals through that menu. This is an optional shortcut to the class unlock; it does not replace tokens as the currency for its associated armor and weapons. [3]

1. Open Classes from the main menu, inspect DragonSlayer and its token count, then use the class’s unlock option when you meet the displayed requirement. [3]

Switch to the unlocked class

Unlocked classes can be switched rather than requiring a separate character for each class. The official explanation presents switching as a way to change skills and the group’s approach to a dungeon. Choose DragonSlayer from the classes you have unlocked when you want to begin earning experience for that class. [3]

Steps

1. Play and battle while using DragonSlayer to earn its class experience. Reaching rank 10 unlocks the class’s skills, passive abilities, Ultimate and cross skill. [4]

Collect the rewards shown in Classes

Class ranks continue up to 100. Legendary armor pieces unlock every five ranks from 15 through 50, while rank 100 unlocks the Legendary title and badge. The developer describes rewards after rank 10 as cosmetic or status rewards, rather than additional combat power. Raising the class rank is therefore distinct from the initial token unlock and from replacing ordinary character equipment. [4]

Check the class menu for the reward items already unlocked, then collect them from the class trainer. Ranking happens as you battle with the class, and later ranks require more class experience than earlier ranks; the official announcement does not describe rank 100 as a single-session quest. [4]
