An army unit at Fort Stewart, Georgia, has introduced a unique incentive for its troops: a four-day leave pass to play Grand Theft Auto VI. The offer, available to the 3rd Infantry Division's 9th Brigade Engineering Battalion, is tied to the signing of a new reenlistment contract.
The Reenlistment Incentive
According to reports, 20 soldiers have already accepted the offer. The battalion has identified 130 eligible soldiers who have until November 14 to sign the contract to secure the time off for the game's launch. Lt. Col. Angel Tomko, a spokesperson for the 3rd Infantry Division, stated the program aims to connect with soldier interests to boost reenlistment numbers.
