How to Download the MW4 Beta
To participate in the early window, eligible players must redeem any earned codes at callofduty.com/betaredeem before selecting their preferred gaming platform. Once registered, navigate to the MW4 store listing on your platform to trigger the download when the window opens. Note that if you link multiple console accounts to a single Activision account, the system issues the code strictly for the hardware chosen during registration.
What Content Is Included in Early Access?
The early client features a targeted slice of the full game across single-player and multiplayer suites. The Entrenched campaign mission anchors the single-player offering, while the multiplayer lineup features six distinct maps—Rooftops, Silkworm, Transit 213, Cachette, Lotus, and Kill Block.
Players can test these environments across Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, Inflation, Search & Destroy, Kill Block in 10v10 and 3v3 Gunfight formats, and a dedicated Mobility Course. Following the conclusion of the early window on Aug. 25, an open beta runs from Aug. 28 to Sept. 1, adding support for the Nintendo Switch 2.
