Nintendo's July 2026 Switch 2 Lineup Includes Splatoon Raiders and More

While much of the game industry slows down following the flurry of June showcases, Nintendo is keeping its momentum through July 2026 with a series of releases for the Nintendo Switch 2. The lineup ranges from long-awaited franchise returns to enhanced editions of existing titles.

New Releases for July 2026

The month begins with Rhythm Heaven Groove on July 2. This marks the first new installment in the rhythm series in 14 years and serves as the final original Nintendo Switch game from their in-house studios, though it is fully playable on the Switch 2. The title features art from Ko Takeuchi and maintains the series' characteristic challenging rhythms and irreverent tone.

Following a last-minute delay from June, Denshattack! is now set to arrive on July 15. The game tasks players with controlling a high-speed train capable of stunt-flipping within a post-apocalyptic, candy-colored version of Japan.

On July 16, players can pick up Moss: The Forgotten Relic. This collection brings both Moss and Moss: Book 2—previously exclusive to VR platforms—to the Switch 2 for flat-screen play, allowing a new audience to experience the adventures of Quill the mouse.

Major Nintendo Titles and Upgrades

Perhaps the most significant addition to the schedule is Splatoon Raiders, launching July 23. Positioned as a dedicated single-player experience for the Splatoon franchise, the game incorporates RPG-style progression, deep customization, and four-player co-op. Early impressions suggest a structure reminiscent of a looter shooter.

Fitness enthusiasts will see the release of Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition on July 16. This update addresses previous gaps in the series by adding camera-assisted form correction, GameShare multiplayer, and more granular feedback on speed and timing.

Rounding out the month is Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, arriving July 30. Monolith Soft’s 2017 RPG receives a technical boost with Nintendo promising higher resolutions and a 60 fps frame rate. The package also includes a new rare Blade, an additional Blade quest, and a fresh action battle mode.
